About This Project

As part of the mobile team at Classtune, I contributed to developing and maintaining the native iOS app using Objective-C. The app provided parents, teachers, and students with an integrated learning experience — including classroom updates, homework management, grade tracking, and direct communication channels. My work focused on stabilizing the legacy codebase, improving responsiveness, and adding new features in close collaboration with backend and design teams. I also supported App Store releases and handled real-world issues like push notification reliability and offline caching. Key Contributions: - Developed new UI components and user flows in Objective-C following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). - Integrated RESTful APIs for newsfeed, attendance, and notifications. - Enhanced local data caching for better offline support. - Implemented APNs push notifications for real-time updates. - Fixed legacy memory management issues and migrated parts of the codebase to ARC (Automatic Reference Counting). - Collaborated with QA to improve app stability, reducing crash rates across devices.
